About Barrel House BBQ
Barrel House BBQ is Chuck Baker's. A brick and block mason by trade, he opened the first one in 2012 in an old laundromat in Lynchburg, with no barbecue experience, and built the pit out of block.
The second opened in Shelbyville in 2022. Both serve the Grilled Cheese on Crack: pulled pork, pulled chicken or smoked sausage with habanero sauce, buttered and grilled with the cheese. Yelp and BuzzFeed picked it as the best grilled cheese in Tennessee in 2017.
