What we keep, and what we do with it
No account to make, no newsletter you didn't ask for, and nothing sold to anybody. Here is the whole of it.

The short version
Paddock20 operates this site for The Piston Powered Ranch. The site keeps what you type into its forms, along with the choices you made about being contacted. Nothing is sold to anybody. Visits are counted with Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics so we know whether anybody is coming, which is measurement rather than advertising. There is no account to make.
What the forms keep
Each form is stored in the ranch's own database when you send it. The interest list is also kept in the contact records of PaddockGavin Events, in the CRM Paddock20 runs, so the people who asked for news are kept in one place. A card number is typed into Stripe's secure payment field and never reaches the ranch.

Email, and sharing with sponsors
The RSVP asked about each kind of contact on its own: emails about the day, text messages about the day, news of future PaddockGavin events, and sharing your name and contact with that year's sponsors. Emails about the day came with the RSVP; the rest were off unless you checked them.
Your name and contact go to sponsors only if you checked that box, and never beyond that year's sponsors.
The interest list emails you only because you checked its permission box, which says you can unsubscribe at any time. Agreeing to emails about October 17 did not put anybody on it.

Cookies
No advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies of its own so two visits on the same device can be told apart; they hold a random identifier rather than anything about you. Visits are counted in the ranch's own property and also in one shared property with paddockgavin.com, paddock20.com, supercariq.com and gavinbrookshq.com, and a link from one of these sites to another carries the same random identifier, so a visit that moves between them counts as one visit. The recap reel opens on Instagram, under Instagram's own policy.
Your say over it
Ask what we hold about you and we will tell you. Ask us to correct it or delete it and we will, unless a record has to be kept, such as a payment for the books. Write to hello@pistonpoweredranch.com.
Photographs from the day
The Piston Powered Ranch was photographed and filmed, and photographs and films from the day are on this site. If you would rather not appear in one, write to hello@pistonpoweredranch.com with enough detail to find it, and it comes down.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and nothing is knowingly collected from them. If a child has sent something through a form, tell us and it is deleted the same day.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
