Give · school lunches for kids
Help us fuel brighter days
Let's use our passion for cars to make a real impact in our community. Every donation helps provide school lunches for local kids, and $2,500 fills a whole semi truck with food. Give any amount, from $1.
How much would you like to give?
Any amount from $1 helps fill the truck.
Great cars
An incredible lineup of collector and enthusiast vehicles.
Stronger community

One truck
$2,500
fills a semi truck with food for kids' school lunches.
Our goal this year is at least one full truck, raised by the end of the show on Saturday, October 17. If we come up short, we keep collecting, and we keep the community posted as the money comes in. Then we do the food giveaway. Next year, we want more.
How and why
On Saturday, October 17, Mechanics on a Mission is giving away a car at the show. We are raising money to give away food for school lunches. We are working through two Tennessee nonprofits:
- Mechanics on a Mission gives cars and free repairs to people in need.
- One Generation Away rescues food and gives it to neighbors in need.
We think it is a great thing to show up with cars and a truck full of food for kids, and we want to keep doing it as often as we can.
All year
Gifts are open all year, not only on show day.
Part of the profit from The Piston Powered Ranch goes to the truck too. Eatin' Good.
Want to help another way? Maybe it is a rig. We would like to know who is out there: hello@pistonpoweredranch.com
We may change the cause each quarter. Right now, every gift goes to school lunches for kids.
